Along the busy Wilkes Avenue, which is a Japanese-oriented neighbourhood in
Salvage Specialty Coffee is owned and managed by three blokes who have worked in various coffee chains before and they have decided to establish a specialty cafe using quality ingredients.
Aptly named because most of the furniture and fittings to build this cafe has been “salvaged,” and they also occasionally use “salvaged” ingredients like honey, this Artarmon coffee place serves seasonal house blends and a variety of brews from Ona. Their pastries and bread, on the other hand, are from Bread and Butter Project.
Salvage Specialty Coffee has been proudly named as one of Sydney’s best cafes in the Top Cafes Award for three years in a row (2015 to 2017). But the place is not just known for good coffee, as patrons also love their Salvage Famous Toastie and their outdoor seating.

Salvage Specialty Coffee’s trading hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily but the store extends its time until 9:30 p.m. for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
